…the weight of the world rests. In the ancient days during the first era, I was a sea serpent swimming the oceans in my scaly skin, churning up the continents and bubbling up the islands. The wake of my tail raised and lowered the tides. My names were many, and I was revered, and I was feared. I was Leviathan to some, Behemoth to others. I am the legend of mythologies, the image of creation. I have swallowed prophets, and I have shaken the earth.

 

How it works…

A latch-on game is an independent and universal expansion that you incorporate into many board games. Latch-on games use decks and/or minimal devices to expand or adjust the rules and strategies of a board game. Each deck is centered around unique theme-based objectives and actions.
DragonMaster is the flagship creation within the world of Latch-on Games.

QUICK GUIDE TO DRAGONMASTER:

1. Completely set up the game your group has chosen to play. 

2. Everyone in the group should first familiarize themselves with all of the Dragon  Scales. As a group, you may decide that certain ones should not be included in the  deck for the particular board game you are playing if their actions do not apply. Or  for the most adventurous of gamers… keep them all and let your fate be decided by  a Dragon’s whim. 

3. Shuffle the dragon deck and deal the scales face down in the center of the table.  

4. Starting with the game’s first player, each person chooses one Dragon Scale.  Carefully read and understand the scale then place it face down in your area to show  that the card has not yet been played. Reshuffle the remaining dragon scales and  place them aside away from the play area. 

5. When you choose to play your Dragon Scale, turn it over and read it aloud to the  group. Perform its action then leave the scale face up in your area to indicate that the  scale has now been played.

Starting at the beginning of Time, the great Bahamut began shedding his scales.
Throughout the oceans, across the lands and amongst the heavens, these talismans were scattered for the ages. Around each magical scale, Bahamut etched a powerful spell granting favors to those who devote themselves to him. Each of you has found one of Bahamut’s twelve magical scales. Any dragon scale is powerful and should be used carefully and with cunning, skill and strategy.
